TRENISE is a Jamaican-American storyteller passionate about making reading feel fun! When she was in third grade, her teacher said she should write books when she grew up—and Mrs. Buckner must’ve been clairvoyant because here we are! Writing books! Wonder and imagination are at the heart of her stories and she loves creating worlds where children can get lost between the pages and find themselves along the way.

Post Office Bay
Delivering love to readers around the world on May 26th, 2026!
Post Office Bay is a real place that has existed since the late-1770s. While not much more than a barrel, sailors passing by would drop off and pick up mail to deliver to waiting friends and family around the world. It has lasted for centuries solely due to the kindness of strangers. In this story, Oliver learns from his grandfather about the role this unique post office played in his family's history when someone put "love in a barrel" long ago.
